To the "Lay" person: your use of the word "lil" is something you need to control. Do you think you are "Lil Green", the jazz singer? If not, then why do you use such effete terms as "lil"? Of course, you may be an actual woman who thinks she is retaliating for something she may have actually misunderstood. You know, if you want to actually clear up misunderstandings, you have to give the other person a chance to respond, preferably privately. I've responded hastily to a few things here and there, and have a few frustrations in trying to resolve certain situations.

As for me, I am certainly no "homo", unless you mean the Latin usage, which is "man". I ceratinly am a man, and my fave Latin phrase is "ecce homo" which means, "Behold, the man!!"

Unlike some here I actually admit I enjoyed posting at Metal Sludge. The main page is still good, and once in awhile, I'll see a spark of what attracted me to the page in the first place, and what made me stay.I haven't seen the boards since last summer, really have no idea what has been going on there. Every thread I posted on turned to crap near "the end", so I thought discretion the better part of valour, and said "Adios".

Having said that, I'm throwing down the gauntlet to the chippy and saying if you want to fuck with me,you'll have to put up or shut up.

I saw "you two", Tigger's post just below mine, and naturally thought I was being insulted. I guess I'm a bit touchy lately.

Anyway, I guess the supense just won't go away.

Does everyone NOW understay WHY I avoid these things? Too much drama on these boards. I do miss the conversations and such and Raggz ALWAYS cracked me up. But to quote the song
"nothing left to do too many things were said to ever make it feel like yesterday did."

I don't think it takes a genius to understand why people would avoid message boards. The thing is that for some of us, it is the only way we can "speak" to people with the same tastes as yourself. I could call Ash everyday and bug him, and I am pretty sure he doesn't mind the occasional phone call, but it is easier to do this.

I could call Al, but until he moves closer or I move to Kansas (like either one will happen), this is still the cheaper route.

I can't do the chat room thingy. Too damn rough. I like this as it goes at my pace and I avoid the wacko stuff.

Notice at the end I mentioned that I understand that people don't care what I have to say. I didn't say that exactly, but that is what I meant.

Yeah I understand its a way to talk to people. But I'd much prefer to do it thru email or IMs. That way other people that like to start issues don't get a chance.
